Jack Gindi, a 28-year-old New York resident, was stabbed after getting into an altercation with Tyquan Bailey, a 22-year-old FedEx employee, while walking near 33rd Street and 5th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan earlier today.

According to witnesses, Gindi accidentally bumped into Bailey and an argument ensued, resulting in the victim getting stabbed at least four times.

An unnamed worker at the Empire State Building described what he saw as the event unfolded:

"The guy was bleeding a lot. His whole stomach was cut open. I saw when the ambulance got here. They lifted his shirt — I thought he got shot because there was a wound in the front and in the back. It must have been a big knife!"
