Mika Brzezinski Kicks ‘Fire And Fury’ Author Off ‘Morning Joe’

“Fire and Fury” author Michael Wolff has sunk from the penthouse to the outhouse in the weeks since his error-filled White House tell-all was published — with even some of President Trump’s harshest critics telling Wolff to hit the road.

Wolff was tossed from MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” by co-host Mika Brzezinski on Thursday morning after a contentious debate over the author’s sleazy allegation that Trump was bedding UN Ambassador Nikki Haley.

Brzezinski pressed Wolff about whether he was sorry for implying that Trump and Haley were carrying on a White House romance.

When Wolff — whose book painted an alarming picture of an administration mired in chaos and a president ill-equipped to do his job — evaded the question, Brzezinski lowered the boom.

“If you don’t get what we’re talking about, I’m sorry, this is awkward, you’re here on the set with us, but we’re done,” Brzezinski said.

“Michael Wolff, thank you. We’re going to go to break now.”

Wolff then took a page from Trump’s playbook and took to Twitter to mock Brzezinski.

“My bad, the President is right about Mika,” Wolff wrote.

The “Morning Joe” hosts weren’t the only media figures fed up with Wolff, who is known for making factual errors and distorting the truth in his career as an author and journalist.

Erik Wemple, the media columnist for the Washington Post, also slammed Wolff over the accusation against Haley, which Wolff leveled on HBO’s “Real Time With Bill Maher,” calling him a “sleaze.”

And Axios scribe Jonathan Swan went after Wolff on Twitter.

“It must be fun to write and say whatever you want under the banner of ‘non-fiction,’ with zero fact-checking or basic decency,” Swan wrote.

He then asked that his name be removed from the author’s acknowledgments in the next edition of Wolff’s book.

Haley called the accusation “disgusting” and emphatically denied that she and Trump were an item.

The White House has attacked the book as “fiction,” saying many of the author’s claims were total fabrications.
