In a shocking Tuesday evening tweet, the President of the United States directly mentioned the deep state. He wrote:

"Charles McCullough, the respected fmr Intel Comm Inspector General, said public was misled on Crooked Hillary Emails. 'Emails endangered National Security.' Why aren’t our deep State authorities looking at this? Rigged & corrupt? @TuckerCarlson @seanhannity"

According to Wikipedia:

"Deep state was defined in 2014 by Mike Lofgren, a former Republican U.S. congressional aide, as 'a hybrid association of elements of government and parts of top-level finance and industry that is effectively able to govern the United States without reference to the consent of the governed as expressed through the formal political process.'"

In his 1961 farewell address, former President Dwight D. Eisenhower warned of a grave threat - the military industrial complex:

During that same year, President John F. Kennedy, who was later assassinated, spoke of something similar. He repeatedly referred to "secret societies" in a speech given at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City:

During George H. W. Bush's time as POTUS, he gave a speech and enthusiastically announced the coming of a "New World Order":

Not surprisingly, corrupt news media outlets were immediately put on full damage control and tried to discredit the President's comment:

It will definitely be interesting to see what comes of this.
