These Five Simple Words Have Exposed The Left's Extreme Hypocrisy
NMWD doesn't normally buy into the left/right paradigm because we believe it is an "our team versus your team," tribalism-based tactic meant to divide and conquer the population. In this article, however, we'll use the terms "left" and "right" simply as labels for easier identification of certain ideologies that most people are familiar with.
In today's world, race is a big topic. It's always been a big topic in America, but it seems to be at the forefront of many discussions right now.
Groups such as Black Lives Matter supposedly exist to fight racial injustice and inequality, especially by those who serve in law enforcement. BLM's true reason for existing, though, is actually completely different. If you're interested in learning more, check out this article by The Trumpet.
As everyone has certainly noticed, even professional sports players have used their platforms to "protest" by kneeling during the national anthem, or raising their fists in the air.

The Phrase
Not long ago, a phrase comprised of five simple words emerged: "It's Okay To Be White." Its origin is said to be from an alt-right leaning image board. Even if this is true, it isn't important.
Why, you may ask?
Well, because simply saying or writing "it's okay to be white" should be... okay.
Right?
To any sane person, it is. To others who disagree or are quick to criticize the saying - well, they should probably be labeled as racists.
Uh... right?
Oops, we forgot! "Reverse racism" isn't real (according to far-left news outlet HuffPost).
Moving On
A recent article posted on the Torontoist titled REVEALED: The white supremacists behind alt-right posters around the city claims to have captured two groups responsible for putting up "It's Okay To Be White" posters around the University of Toronto campus.
According to the article:
"The groups included Winston Smith, Devon Huxtable, and the guy that brought the Black Sun Nazi flag to the anti-Trudeau rally at Nathan Phillips Square on October 21."
Now, we're a bit skeptical of the photographer's firsthand account of being called derogatory names, as well as some of the other information posted in their story. The article itself appears to be a blatant smear-piece which tries to discredit the short history and/or reason behind the simple five-word phrase by deploying a classic leftist tactic: relating anything they don't agree with to neo-Nazism.
Hmm...
A reader recently sent us a peculiar screenshot. They apparently have been designing t-shirts on Zazzle.com and caught wind of the phrase "It's Okay To Be White." They decided to place the saying on a shirt and, surprisingly enough, it posted live on the site... but only for a couple of hours.
Shortly after, they received this email:
Interesting. Very interesting.
We conducted a simple search on Zazzle for "Black Lives Matter" -
It is certainly looking promising so far...
Lo and behold, when we clicked search, here were the results:
Wow! 7,356 search results related to BLM products!
Can you see the hypocrisy yet?
There's More
Here's an article posted on Yahoo Lifestyle which was originally titled Diverse photo shoot sends powerful message: 'Never be sorry for being black' and was pointed out by Twitter user Ashley Rae (note - the title has since changed):
She does have a point.
And Finally
All around social media, people have been posting the "It's Okay To Be White" phrase or image. Some of the reactions are... kinda insane.
Here's a tweet from ABC 7 News - WJLA, which was posted on November 2nd. It reads:
"'IT'S OKAY TO BE WHITE' sign found on doors at Montgomery Blair HS in MD. School says flyers were removed and says they're investigating."
"Officials released this security camera image as well appearing to show a person posting the flyer."
Comments:
Conclusion
It sure would be nice if we didn't have to even discuss a topic like this in 2017. But, as we mentioned in our disclaimer at the beginning of this article, the "divide and conquer" strategy seems to be panning out well.
Can we try, as a society, to get past identity politics (of all kinds)? Is it really too much to ask?
If we can actually unite as human beings and not just divide ourselves by the color of our skin, maybe... just maybe all of this craziness will blow over.
Update (7:10pm PT on 11/09/2017): Apparently University of Alaska (UAA) is making members of their team available for "support" in case students need someone to talk to after seeing an "It's Okay To Be White" flyer. It's just THAT offensive!
