Hurricane Harvey was downgraded to a tropical storm on Saturday, with sustained winds of 70 mph. Even so, Harvey caused substantial damage when it blasted ashore as a Category 4 at around 11 p.m. ET Friday evening.
As of this posting, there has been at least one death reported and a dozen injured. Texas Governor Greg Abbott said the state has more than 1,000 workers involved in search and rescue operations.
