Popular Subreddit '/r/The_Donald' Temporarily Set To Private After Three Mods Removed Withou
On Friday at 8:41pm (Eastern), three '/r/The_Donald' subreddit moderators were removed by the Reddit Admin Team.
According to a message that is now appearing on the popular message board, "This was punishment for our refusal to comply to a special set of rules that were imposed only on this subreddit and prevented our members from fully enjoying reddit or our mods from defending users against harassment."
/r/The_Donald has since been set to private view in a "show of strength against these unfair restrictions."

This is not the first time the controversial subreddit has faced censorship or criticism. Last November, Reddit's CEO Steve Huffman (/u/spez) pledged to suppress pro-Trump posts, resulting in many users becoming infuriated and calling his actions "abhorrent."
The subreddit will supposedly be back online again at around midnight tonight.
