Pronoun Sensitivity And Gender Dysphoria In Western Society

More and more we are hearing about certain groups of people getting offended when they are not addressed by their proper "pronouns" and "genders." Even Bill Nye's new show on Netflix, titled "Bill Nye Saves the World," focused in on the topic and tried to prove it with science, even though decades earlier in his 1990s show "Bill Nye the Science Guy" he confirmed there were only two genders.

His new show features a disturbing song during one of its episodes titled "Sex Junk" performed by Rachel Bloom and other backup singers.

Is this type of political correctness healthy for western culture? Or is it simply pandering to a small percentage of the population who are very vocal and most likely dealing with a number of mental disorders?

Many mainstream media outlets seem to side with pronoun / gender identification and even push the narrative on a regular basis.
